Specifically designed for use in dry risers, wet risers, hose reel systems, and sprinklers, our BSP air release valves are engineered to automatically release air from the pipeline when internal pressure becomes too high. Once the air pressure is released, the vent hole is sealed by a rubber ball that is pushed upwards as the valve fills with water. This ensures a consistent and powerful flow of water when you need it most. Our air release valves are manufactured from brass in accordance with BS5041 for Vigil Products and are available in either a parallel BSP Male thread for 25mm (1 inch) or 19mm (¾ inch) inlets.
